Le Laternon is a home and an adventure in one. Everywhere you turn you are comforted and delighted by what you see and feel. From the incredible art works on the walls to the perfectly worn wood and finders linens….. it was difficult to tear myself away to venture outside. I imagine coming back in the wintertime. And Autumn, and spring….again and again.

Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful Ile de Ré. Eric and Nelly are super hosts, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. The room we stayed in was perfect, quiet, clean and comfortable. We availed one evening of the 3 course dinner Eric prepared and it was just delicious. (Highly recommend). Breakfast was very nice.

Both me and my husband were travelling to a few places in France by car.we had booked 3 places on line.Staying with 2 Gentlemen and their beautiful dog was a big plus for us .the apartment they had was so beautiful. Spotless.everything was provided down to the breakfast .I would highly recommend this beautiful appartmet without hesitation. Very tasty and healthy homemade breakfast. The garden was lovely, as were the living room and guest rooms (we had two) and everything was very clean. The rooms and beds (and pillows!) were very comfortable, and all designs were very well thought through and made with excellent taste. Vincent is the best host, very accommodating, service minded and interesting to talk to. The location is great with a good distance to Saint Martin and La Flotte by bike. We wished we had stayed longer and can't wait to return!
