Staff was super kind and helpful, also in the restaurant of the hostal. They have also very good food and wines. The hostal is in the heart of the old town, everything is in a walking distance. The castle, the port and the beach are just 10 min by foot, also the bus & tram station are max 15 min away. Denia and the hostal are a perfect place to take some rest and enjoy your time at the beach.

We have stayed in this hotel before and loved it. It is on the edge of the Old Town so ideal for wandering the beautiful streets with all the bars and restaurants you could wish for. It is also very near mainstream shops, a supermarket (Mercadona) and it is just a short walk down the hill to the beach. The only downside is that it is quite a steep climb back up the hill after a day at the beach but we got to grips with the bus system on day 2 so it was plain sailing after that. The hotel has a beautiful roof terrace open 24 hours where you can sit and relax with a nice glass of wine (or tea/coffee if you prefer). Our room was a twin with a nice balcony overlooking the street and came with tea and coffee making facilities which is rare for Spanish hotels.

La Paloma is situated less than 3 km from the centre of Calpe and 500 metres from the beach. It offers free Wi-Fi and a seasonal outdoor pool.

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is magical. Owners are lovely, rooms are clean. There's a private pool and a yoga studio in the building. Definitely recommend and will be coming back
