A great, quiet guesthouse with a very kind, helpful host. Abu will go out of his way to make sure you have what you need and are comfortable. I would stay here again.

The host was amazingly friendly, even inviting us to his nieces engagement party while we were there and we got to experience some authentic Nubian food!
The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle.
The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed.
Would definitely reccomend!

- great host Ahmed and his family made our stay wonderful; he waited for us at the train station and took us to his guest house; made sure we have everything we need and helped organize trips for us; also helped us with getting medical help and medications
- delicious breakfast that you can enjoy with the river view
- clean room with AC
- guest house location is calm and quiet

Great location next to the Nile and 5 minutes on foot from the ferry. Also very nice rooftop to chill by the river. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Ahmed is a great host, we were able to take our breakfast in a bag when we had to leave at 4am. He can also organize a trip to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price.
