Guest Houses in Aswān

A retreat of peace and quiet within the Elephantine Island, gateway to the nubia. Excellent breakfast, beautiful view from the terrace and the most peaceful surrounding. They helped me book my tours, transfer to the hotel and also to luxor (visiting temples), I booked most with them and it was a great smooth experience, fair rates as well. The bedroom is quite comfortable and the toilet is good even though it is below the stairs.

The place is really new, all is painted in white, very clean, new furniture, great bed and very comfortable mattress, bed linen all white and fresh, also the towels. The room is totally worth the price, is even better than you except, it fulfills the european standars ( like german clean hotel). The bathroom is spacious. The rooms are also very quiet, a thing that is hard to find in Egypt. The wifi works perfectly, each room has a smart tv, you can use your Netflix account in case all the programs ( also many with american movies in english) are not enough. They have a terrace above with a beautiful view over the river where they serve breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is very nice, it is traditional, but also they can make the eggs the way you like. The guest house is brand new, is a family business owned by JJ and Mona, who are amazing people, they take care of everything you need and are very warm, kind and welcoming people. They speak also good english so is very easy to get all the information you need. They offer services also for trips, to go visit the nubian village, the botanical garden or take a felucca ride for sunset at very good price. They are honest people. I talked to them a lot and are very open. I have been to many places and I can make a difference between a host who really cares about the wellbeing of the customers and the one who just does it for the business, definitely JJ and Mona are genuine carrying people. We loved them.

One of the best aspects of our stay was how connected we felt to the local community. The village’s vibrant culture and the warmth of its people made every interaction memorable. Whether we were strolling through the Elephantine Island, or chatting with the Nubians, there was a constant feeling of being welcomed and embraced. One minute from the ferry port, easy walking around the island and great views over the nile and city.

Very nice view from the top terrace, excellent comfortable shower in the bathroom (which is rare in the area), kind host!

A great laid back place to stay on the West Bank, close to the public ferry and the tombs of the nobles. The facilities are new and clean. The owners and his family are super hospitable. We also ordered lunch which was delicious. No regretting we have chosen the place and we will definitely come back.

The host is very nice and helpful, he helped us to arrange all the things for our transportations and tour, he has a boat, it was a very nice experience to go around the nile river using the boat. The guest is in the island, with beautiful scene and very quiet.

Welcoming place and people. Can’t thank enough Mohamed for his help on arranging our late arrival to Aswan and still being so generous and welcoming.

Apartamnt is on great location. Mr. Mahmoud is great guy is helping you as much as he can. He aranged everthing fpr me fpr very good price. Breakfast is also great. I m coming back next time for sure....

The environment and local culture. My children loved all the animals around the guest house. It was an experience and they even took a swim and the hotel staff were helping out with two small children
