We simply loved the Pension and its surroundings (die Altstadt). We also met the hosts and some of their colleagues on several occasions and they were all really friendly and outgoing. As other reviewers have mentioned, breakfast is available via vouchers in a café just around the corner (Mein Backhus). With so many edible attractions on offer, it's quite easy to exceed the limit of the voucher (€ 9.50 in 2023), but we didn't mind too much because the food and the coffee (we didn't have the filter coffee) were fresh and tasty. Some of the ladies at the café were nicer than some others, but we just decided to get over that. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This guest house is located in Stralsund, directly opposite the brewery and just 3 km from the UNESCO Old Town district. It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Gutshous Ketelshagen is the perfect destination in Rugen. A beautiful house in the middle of nature ( from your window you can see deers) but still close to the sea (Binz is 20 minutes away). The rooms are super clean, cozy, and well-furnished and the bed is very comfortable - You feel like at home. The house is run by lovely Ruth and Hannah who were super welcoming and very nice.  I had big trouble with my car and they were very helpful with my situation. If you are planning to go to Rugen this house should be your sleeping destination - 10/10.

Friendly and helpfull staff, good restaurant, nice location. The windows have mesh on - you won't get any moscitoes in your room. The restaurant has tables outside on the square and inside the building.
