The hôtel has a typical bavarian look and the people are very welcoming. Very nice location, at walking distance from the lake and not far from Starnberg and Tutzing (accessible by car (10min) or S-bahn which is 5min from the hôtel). Proximity with the S-bahn also allows a day-trip to Munich (c. 40min by train). The breakfast is hearty with bavarian and german staples. The restaurant in the evening serves really amazing food with bavarian classics that were absolutely wonderful (best Kartoffelsalat i ever had).

Great breakfast at the café. But it cost a 15 Euros/person extra which I only realised at checkout or else we might just have taken breakfast à la carte.

A cute charming B&B in close proximity to Soll train station. We had a lovely cosy room and super clean bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed the conversation with the host. We’d loved to stay longer - maybe next time. B&B at is best.

We loved everything about the place, from the friendly staff the moment we walked in, to the delicious dinner we had that evening, the beautiful town of Bernried, to the very roomy and comfortable room. Everything was perfect!
