Amazing old colonial building, beautiful garden and an incredible view over Copacabana and the harbour. Log fire in the breakfast room. Room is quiet and completely dark at night. Super comfortable bed with a big thick duvet. Mario, the owner, was really kind and helpful. One of my favourite places I've stayed in 6 months travelling.

This is a very special place! The photos do not do justice to how it really looks. The room with the terrace is very spacious and lovely decorated. It has a kettle, tea and coffee, and a heater. The bathroom is big, and the shower is hot. The best part is the view of the lake and the most beautiful sunset. Simply unique! The staff is super friendly and helpful. And there is a well-equipped kitchen that you are allowed to use. For us, it was just the most perfect place!

The rooms are very nice, the location is perfect, as you don’t have to climb up the stairs with your bags, the room and the shower is great (my room was on the lower floor), with a great view of the lake the restaurant makes delicious food and the staff is super nice.
