Absolutely perfect location right in the heart of bascarsija, one of the warmest cutest hostels I've ever seen, with a great host/owner damir, who was very helpful with everything to our large group of visitors.

It was great to spend our short stay at Mikis. Even though we arrived very late, Miki was waiting for us for the check-in and to make sure that we are comfortable. It was a basic, comfortable, uncomplicated stay perfect to spent the night after a late flight. Hvala Miki.

The room was very clean and spacious. This was also the case for the ensuite bathroom, which was clean and well-equipped. The location was excellent, just a couple of minutes by feet to the main Baščaršija area. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. All in all, a great accommodation.

Perfect for a couple. Ok for collegues and friends, as it is a bedroom with door and a sleeping sofa in the living room. The apartment was clean, the bed very good. Not so good sleeping sofa, but ok for a night or two. Very lovely host. We loved to sit at the balcony and listen to the sounds of birds, and also the song from the minarets, with the smell of flowers and all the green colors on the vegetation. Very short distance to the old town, shops and restaurants.

Perfect location in the heart of the old town, incredibly helpful and friendly staff and beautifully designed rooms. Highly recommended!

If you have a list of must-do experiences in Sarajevo, visiting Faruk and Nina should be at the very top. When I booked their place for a three-night stay on Booking.com, it was a random choice—I didn’t even check the reviews. But from the moment Nina welcomed me into their home, I knew I had stumbled upon something special. Faruk and Nina are the embodiment of warm Bosnian hospitality—true ambassadors of their country. Staying with them felt less like a typical guest experience and more like visiting long-lost family. They went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The house was impeccably clean, and despite dinner not being included in the package, Nina lovingly prepared meals for me every night. Meanwhile, Faruk delighted me with his wonderful selection of drinks, making every evening feel special. Beyond their hospitality, they enriched my stay with valuable travel tips and deep conversations about Bosnian society, culture, and history. The location of their home is also unbeatable—just a five-minute walk from the Old Town, with all the amenities you could need close by. Whether it's cafes, shops, or public transport, everything is within easy reach, making it the perfect base for exploring Sarajevo. By the time I left, it felt as though my family had grown, with a new brother and sister in Sarajevo. Before this trip, I had never met anyone from Bosnia. Now, I can’t imagine returning to Sarajevo and staying anywhere else. No hotel or facility could ever replace the warmth, generosity, and genuine connection I found with Faruk and Nina.

Firstly the bed is big and comfortable. I love the room. The shower and toilet are full of toiletries. The host is very friendly and helpful. The wifi is working well. The location is close to the center although you need to go up a bit .
