Absolutely heart warming hotel with great facilities, amazing breakfast and sweetest staff! Everything you need to have a rest after a long skiing day is at your disposal. I felt as if the owners did a crazy fascinating job to make this hotel a little museum of different artifacts, small details and prestige customer service.

The breakfast was excellent, a wide selection of dishes (with excellent homemade jams and honey), the dining room is clean and very nicely decorated. The surroundings of the accommodation are very nicely decorated and clean, the location on the hill with a view of the valley and the surrounding hills is wonderful.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Neukirchen am Großvenediger, Hölzl Bed & Breakfast is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.

We were very satisfied. The accommodation is not far from town, in a calm place. A few hiking and bike trips in the surroundings.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely room with a balcony. Superb views onto surrounding mountains and valleys. The food was excellent quality with generous portions. There are lovely seating areas outside (covered and uncovered). With such good food and a bar on-site we didn’t need to go anywhere else. The receipt for the stay also gives you a 2 day free pass to the waterfalls. There is secure storage for bikes too. Beds are super comfy and the breakfast was the best we’ve had on our cycle tour.

Very friendly host. Gave us great Tipps on what to visit, and the places turned out great. Responsive and helpful. The included hohe Tauern card is an amazing add-on and let us visit everything for free (including transport).

I love the antique furniture, it was fascinating to spend the night there. The hotel was very cosy. They were very nice. The restaurant was closed that day, but they still made us dinner :)

The place is just at side of a cable car, you can start skiing from the door of the hostel, with a wonderful view from the mountain. Landlady is so lovely, that that you gonna feel yourself at home.
