Don’t judge a book by its cover. This place was a very lovely experience. The owners were extremely nice and hospitable. Great views and simply a relaxing stay either before or after doing a hike. They were also flexible to pack breakfast for you if you are leaving early. And they have drinkable water.

Perfect in every way! A lovely family, great location - you step out the back door directly onto the Rosni peak trail. Food was great and not crazily overpriced like most guesthouses. While we were there the family’s niece was also there to visit who we enjoyed some nice and interesting conversations with. Would absolutely recommend!

A great place with wonderful people! We had a delicious meal the evening before and on the day of our hike a great breakfast. Would recommend to anyone who likes to stay with a local family. Downstairs is more basic and upstairs there are rooms for people who like a bit more comfort.

clean and beautiful house with the best view in the whole valley. the owner was very friendly, smiling and very welcoming. we had a bad situation after leaving the Hotel because we had a car accident and the hotel owner came to our rescue by doing everything possible to fix our car. I highly recommend it

Amazing people. I have booking in last minute and they do everything is possible to make it easier for me We feel very good in this guesthouse, very clean and authentic. They prepare me a dinner it’s like a feast, this give me all the energy i need to go in theth the next day Moreover they prepare me two delicious sandwich for lunch. The place is exceptional you can also go swin at the river next to the guest house

The guesthouse is not only set in an idealic setting at the base of the mountain with spectacular scenery, but it is moments from the trail. The owners were extremely helpful and kind. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing, and as farm to table as you can get, down to the honey and cheese, made by the owner. I was in a room with three single beds. My room shared a modern, clean washroom with another bedroom upstairs. Staying at this guesthouse, meeting the owners and enjoying the meals has been a highlight of my trip to Albania. I wish I had stayed longer!

Everything you want for a hiking trip in Valbonë. Extra bonus point for the amazing host, very kind. Dinner and breakfast are excellent, with big portion size, and super cheap. The lunch pack is also great for the day hikes. Room was nice, clean, mountain view. Location is also good, not too far from the theth train, and also close to the little market in case of a necessary buy. Only good things to say about the guesthouse. Wish we could have spent a bit more time there.
