Communication with hosts was clear. The surroundings is beautiful because the house is basically in the castle-great view, great terrace. The only downside is that if you do not have car, it is quite far to the beach & city center. It's located up on the hillside overlooking Himare, which provides great views and peace and quiet away from the bustle of the main beaches. We loved sitting on the verandah to enjoy our breakfast and lunch under the shade of the lemon trees, looking out over the ocean. The location and the surrounding is great - balcony with a nice sea view and just 2 minutes from the Himara old town peak/tower. It is away from the city rush so you get perfect quiet nights, the sound of country life and fresh mountain breeze. The apartment was very clean, spacious and well equipped.
