Walked to the restaurants in town with a lot of shops and street vendors to peruse. We also walked to the Falcon’s Nest which was amazing. I think it was around 6 miles round trip. So many other areas to explore. Sorry we only had one day there.

The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean, the beds were very comfortable. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful! Breakfast prepared by the hostess was very nutritious and varied. She suggested that we could make sandwiches for our hike, which was very nice of her and thanks to that, we didn’t waste any food that she prepared. Since we were in Janov before the season, the local restaurants were closed, however, the hostess prepared a delicious dinner for us with dessert and local alcohols. We felt like home! We travelled with our dog and he was also welcomed there. Thank you very much!

Our kids especially loved chopping wood for the grill, which made the experience even more fun and hands-on. Highly recommended for anyone looking to slow down and soak in the nature and charm of the region. Just a tip for future guests: since the area is rich in nature, it’s a good idea to wear long sleeves or use repellent even while relaxing at the table in the yard. I was in a summer dress one evening and found a small tick on my leg the next day a reminder that nature here is very much alive!
