We traveled by motorcycle, we arrived in the dark so it was a beautiful site in de morning. Breakfast was excellent. Its really a hotel we would like to go again in the future.

Great location just north of Aberdeen. Was working within a 30 miles radius and could reach my destinations with ease. The staff are wonderful and very well mannered. The food in the restaurant at night was very good and the breakfast choice amazing. I had to miss a night in the restaurant to check out Balmedie fish and chip shop, highly recommended. The room is spacious and cosy with a good size bathroom, with tea and coffee facilities. Can't fault the place.

Breakfast was amazing- choice, freshness, cleanliness, very helpful and pleasant staff and scrumptious pancakes. Handy location for bus into city centre and on straight route to the city and to access the beautiful countryside - A944 for all of this. Reception staff tried to help me find means of accessing ARI hospital but weren't sure but thanks to helpful bus drivers soon gained that information and confidence to use it. Would be excellent idea if handy info booklet containing information on use of buses to access locations as like me many wish to stay in.location not in city but with choice to use either own transport or public transport. Information on what is available on the excellent little shopping centre directly opposite the hotel would very welcome for those looking to buy gifts, essentials or things to take to hospital patients.

The Ardennan House Hotel is a charming Scottish family run hotel which has been renovated to a nice standard with modern, comfortable furnishings.
