These luxury tents are situated on the side of the Simonsberg Mountain, with views of the Franschhoek, Paarl and the Drakenstein mountain ranges. Each tent features a private deck with sun loungers. Incredible scenery Wonderful staff especially Glen at reception Great food - except the food at the night market which was bland and tasteless but this was from outside vendors from the area, not Boschendal.

The air is fresh, the area is nicely secluded and quiet. If you wish to escape the city noise or to just recharge and get some reading/writing done. This is a good spot. Nice walking trails around the area as well. 10/10 for sure

Kiara and her staff were possibly the kindest people I've ever been hosted by. She went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The property is spotless in terms of cleanliness. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was perfect. I appreciated there being the courtyard space to be able to sit in the sun outside. This property is also close to plenty of wine farms, as well as some great mountain biking and hiking spots. The WiFi was reliable once I connected to the correct one.

This mobile home has a fireplace. Heuwelsig Farm Cottages offers self-catering accommodation on a working wine farm, just outside Franschhoek, only an hour drive from Cape Town. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at; not only in Franschhoek, but of all the places I have ever stayed at before. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The farm and surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful, and the location to the town center is perfect. One could stay here in the winter or the summer, due to the indoor fireplace, hot tub and outdoor braai area. I love that it is also very private. Our host was extremely attentive; responding immediately whenever we asked her something. She was very friendly, helpful, and it was clear that she wanted us to enjoy our stay. We will now be staying here every time that we are in Franschhoek!

Just 2.5 hours away from Cape Town, Inverdoorn Game Reserve Lodge is set on 10000 hectares of land within the Klein Karoo. This reserve is home to the Big 5 and a cheetah conservation centre. Such a great experience at a very beautiful Lodge with friendly staff, fun game drives and good amenities - our only regret is not staying a 2nd night to do some of the extras i.e. horseback riding

Located 10 minutes' drive from Oudtshoorn, AfriCamps Klein Karoo is a set on a working ostrich farm. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings.
