These luxury tents are situated on the side of the Simonsberg Mountain, with views of the Franschhoek, Paarl and the Drakenstein mountain ranges. Each tent features a private deck with sun loungers. The location of the Boschendal Estate is in one of the most beautiful areas in the western cape. The estate itself is just amazing. Both the accommodation and the level of service is absolutely phenomenal. We had an amazing dinner at Die Werf Restaurant which was very tasty and made very good, as well as the hospitality and the wine. And we also had some wine pairing at the cellar door and staff was very nice, very informative about the wine selection and was very friendly.

A luxurious set up in the middle of nature. Tent is large, neat and clean. The bed was super comfy with hotel quality linen. All kitchen utensils are provided. You don't need to bring anything but food. I highly recommend this as getaway if you are looking to reconnect with nature. Leon is an exceptional host.

These tented suites feature a private wooden deck and an en suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Family run safari camp with hands on owners who love conservation and take great pride in the excellence of their guides. The guides were very knowledgeable and a special shout out to Abram who is wise beyond his years. We saw great wildlife up close and personal whilst still feeling totally safe. We did both a driven safari and a walking guided safari - both were excellent and memorable. The lodge was very special and Mare, a hand reared antelope, hangs out near the lodge, which is delightful.

This mobile home has a fireplace. Heuwelsig Farm Cottages offers self-catering accommodation on a working wine farm, just outside Franschhoek, only an hour drive from Cape Town. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at; not only in Franschhoek, but of all the places I have ever stayed at before. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The farm and surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful, and the location to the town center is perfect. One could stay here in the winter or the summer, due to the indoor fireplace, hot tub and outdoor braai area. I love that it is also very private. Our host was extremely attentive; responding immediately whenever we asked her something. She was very friendly, helpful, and it was clear that she wanted us to enjoy our stay. We will now be staying here every time that we are in Franschhoek!

The tent was well equipped, fridge, hot water, multiple power points and the bed was very comfortable.They helped with lowering the tyre pressure on the Hilux for the short drive over the sand to the tent. Internet available from the top of sand dune (MTN). The Vodacom network is stronger.
