We loved the tent itself, the hot tub was amazing! The waterfall hike was beautiful as were the rock pools. The farm animals were also lovely to pet. The staff were lovely.

On our journey from Johannesburg to Jan Kempdorp, we had the pleasure of discovering the truly beautiful Riverbend Camp. Nestled right on the banks of the Vaal River, the luxury tents feature top-quality beds that are not only exceptionally comfortable but also equipped with electric blankets—keeping us wonderfully warm even on chilly nights. The entire property is spotless, and during the day you can enjoy fishing right from the front of your tent. We pre-ordered a few sacks of firewood for our evening campfires, which made the experience even more magical. What made our stay truly special were the owners, Basel and Jules. They are exceptionally kind, incredibly warm-hearted, and always available for a friendly chat. One evening, they treated us to a stunning boat trip along the Vaal River—an unforgettable highlight. Five stars simply aren’t enough for the Riverbend Camp. We will most definitely be back—no question about it! Warm greetings from Germany 👍❤️

Boasting barbecue facilities, ATKV Buffelspoort is situated in Rustenburg in the North West region, 47 km from Royal Bafokeng Stadium and... It was nice to swim in the warm swimming pool in the evening. Our accommodation was at the end close to the trees and ideal for us. The washing masjiens and tumble dryer were easy to use. The restaurant had nice food

Everyone in the staff is extremely friendly, the place is beautiful, clean, comfortable. The food is excellent, and the game drives are very exciting. Can’t recommend enough

It is a beautiful property with a few animals roaming around. The tents were clean with comfortable beds. It was warm enough even in the winter - with space heaters provided in the tents. We had a dinner there one night and it was very good. The host even joined us for dinner and we appreciated the time he gave us and information he shared. He also arranged our game drive for the morning. The location was good - about 25 minutes to Bakubung Gate at Pilanesberg.
