Really great lodge right next to Kruger. We stayed here only for a night before driving into Kruger the next day, but it was such a good evening. When we arrived we immediately jumped into the refreshing pool and had a chat and a beer with the other people who stayed at the lodge. Then the owners of the lodge prepared an amazing braai for us and we ate together with everyone who stayed there, which was so cozy! Highly recommend if you are looking for a familial vibe and cozy hangout with other travellers.

Everyone were so polite, nice and tried to make our stay unforgetable. The game drives were really something, you experience only once in life. Special thanks to Sean, who drove us through fantastic locations and answered all of our quetions about. We saw 4 of bug five animals on one ride and saw many others. We did not see the leopards but seeing four black rhinos together was more rarely experience, and Sean told us he never in his life saw anything like that. The food was also amazing, they know exactly what they are doing. Thanks again. Stay here you won’t regret.

Set in Hoedspruit, Mountain View Safari Lodge offers accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. An enchanting place in the middle of nature. Tranquility, absolute privacy, breathtaking landscapes, starry skies. The swimming pool for exclusive use, the barbecue available to guests, the tent equipped for cooking, the professionalism of the manager, Fanie, available to provide information... Note: The last stretch of road, about 13 kilometers, is unpaved. We traveled it with a low rental car. We had no problems but of course you have to go very slowly. During the journey we saw giraffes, impalas, zebras... Spectacular!!! At the entrance to the reserve they sell wood and ice at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!!!

The tent offers a barbecue and mountain views. Set within 19 km of Madikela Private Game Reserve and 48 km of Welgevonden Game Reserve in Vaalwater, Summerplace Game Reserve provides accommodation... I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.
