It was hard to leave the place because the staff was so nice ! We did beautiful hike in the drakensberg, enjoyed very very good food in the lodge, saw beautiful sunset from the lodge ! Everything about the property was just great. The scenery was soul soothing and the actual property, staff and facilities were exceptional. The location is a 17 minute beautiful and scenic drive to town to get things you might need. The people are kind, accommodating and heartwarming. I will definitely be going back next year.

We felt so relaxed and what more can you ask for a vacation. The food was also really good and the entire staff was very kind.

At night, the frogs were present as well. We really enjoyed being surrounded by nature. We stayed at the Fisheagle Cottage. It’s a spacious house with two bedrooms, a private pool, and a nice outdoor area featuring a braai and fire basket. The cottage overlooks the 2 ponds, where the birds and frogs are. Just a five-minute walk brought us to a ‘private’ beach, where we spent two hours without seeing any people.
