It was hard to leave the place because the staff was so nice ! We did beautiful hike in the drakensberg, enjoyed very very good food in the lodge, saw beautiful sunset from the lodge ! Kukummi Lodge - formerly Mackaya Bella Country Lodge features a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 7.3 km of Monks Cowl Country Club and 32 km of Winterton Museum. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 48 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve. The property offers a shuttle service and features a garden and picnic area. Location was stunning! Accommodation was very nice and the hosts were very friendly. Hope to come back to this place!

During the day, we enjoyed hearing the waves at the beach and lots of birds. At night, the frogs were present as well. We really enjoyed being surrounded by nature. We stayed at the Fisheagle Cottage. It’s a spacious house with two bedrooms, a private pool, and a nice outdoor area featuring a braai and fire basket. The cottage overlooks the 2 ponds, where the birds and frogs are. Just a five-minute walk brought us to a ‘private’ beach, where we spent two hours without seeing any people.

Luxury Tented Village @ Urban Glamping offers luxury tented accommodation in St Lucia. There is an outdoor swimming pool and large BBQ area where guests can mingle. All guests share the large kitchen which is fully equipped with gas stoves, hotplates and crockery. We were warmly welcomed from the reception to the luxurious tents that were spotlessly clean and cool. I definitely recommend Urban Glamping. Amenities are nearby, and the staff is so welcoming, very friendly, and helpful

The Tree Top Village Urban Glamping is situated on the main road of St Lucia, surrounded by restaurants and just across the street from the fresh fruit market. The hostel features 2 large swimming pools with sundecks, pool loungers and gazebos. Everything. We were upgraded from the basic (which) still) looked great, to luxury tent. Let me tell, the luxury would have been well worth the money. Absolutely beautiful tenet with bed, ensuite, fridge, coffee, even drinking water. We had a deck and it opened into special area with swings bbqs and even a special pool. Staff was amazing, felt so welcomed !

Known as Thanda Tented Camp, this camp is built in colonial-safari style. Each spacious tent comes with a private sun deck and en-suite canvas bathroom. The camp is non-electrified but does have limited solar and battery power with a back-up generator to power the tents for a few hours each day for guests to charge cameras and phones. We loved every minute of our stay from the first Welcome to the last goodbye from the Thanda Team. A true reflection of how beautiful South Africa really is. We are definitely going back.
