What a fantastic place to enjoy some getaway time in the bush and experience the wildlife on your front step. The tents are very luxurious and your own braai place is fantastic. There is some small game roaming around on the plot and for the big game the owner drives you around himself. We even saw a black rhino, very special.

It is a small (fenced) paradise on the edge of a town famous for its diamond mining. This is the main residential building of the owners and then several separate houses in the middle of a beautiful garden. Next to the main building is a stylish swimming pool, bar, barbecue area. All this available to visitors. everything is complemented by a beautiful garden and palm trees around the pool. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The 3 dogs from the owners were the nicest dogs we have ever experienced, I loved them. Our house/cottage was a beautiful stylish building faced with brick and with a thatched roof. Downstairs was a kitchen, a dining area, a living area and a bedroom with a double bed. Upstairs there is one single bed and another bedroom with a double bed. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning, when it was really hot under the thatched roof in the attic. Breakfast was prepared by the owners in the form of ingredients in our private kitchen. Homemade bread, milk and everything was great.

Aesthetics of the unit tie in very well with the surroundings. The host is very friendly and helpful and always available to assist with any queries or requests. We visited in 2023 and were surprised and pleased upon our return at what seemed to be an upgrade and maintenance of all the features and amenities. The ultimate "better than glamping experience" in my opinion. Perfect for enjoying sunset (or sunrise!!) cocktails, enjoying your own heated splash pool at any time of the day, braaiing and relaxing by the fire while immersed in nature while still also close enough to nearby shops and attractions. Will definitely go back time and again!

We had the most amazing stay at Adorable Unique, Derrick’s beautiful glamping bush experience! The setting was absolutely stunning — surrounded by nature sounds, fresh air, and peaceful vibes. It was the perfect escape from the busy world. A huge highlight was meeting Derrick’s three adorable doggos — Taz, Domino, and Ray Ray! They were so friendly and sweet, making the stay feel even more welcoming and special. The place itself is thoughtfully set up, and really lives up to its name — truly adorable and unique, from fairy lit pathways, to the cries of jackals in the evening. We loved every minute and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing nature getaway with a little extra love from some gorgeous pups!
