The villa and luxury tent were great to stay in and we all slept well! We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

The property is in a beautiful location, isolated but not too hard to get to from the main road. Beautiful sea views in a tranquil area. I loved my stay here. There are trails to walk on the forest near the property and curious monkeys would show up in the morning to look at our chalet. Food in the restaurant was really good and I’ve also used the spa, which was amazing after a long flight. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and attentive. Wish I had time to stay longer and hope to come back one day. Book without thinking twice.

Felt like im camping with all i needed and more. The quiet space and beautifull garden is soothing to one's sole. The host is friendly.

Marietjie & Mike are great hosts. They can help you to organize for example private Safaris … or have tips for anything you might need. The tents are very nice and we had a fantastic BBQ in the evening. Also felt very safe.

Beautiful, spacious, clean and safe. The monkeys are an added bonus…. Loved the pool!! We could see giraffes from the pool…. The fridge was well stocked with an array of beverages and water. Great find!

Offering free toiletries and bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. The view from the mountains is amazing. There is a nice pool and relaxing area. We had a dinner also with this view. The rooms are pretty, all made us to feel good!! We had a small Kia Picanto rental car, very small one. Luckily it was not rainy season, so it was no problem to go up with this car, we had to drive slow and carefully and all was fine!!! The hotel is not far from Addo National Park, so before heading there we made a 2 hour driving from the northern entrance of the park and we saw many elephants and other animals.

Beautiful small lodge located in amazing private reserve! The rooms were stunning and we could see giraffes and warthogs from our terrace! The staff was super nice and attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed! The food was delicious and they catered for gluten free requirements very well. The drives were also great! Our guide Des was extremely knowledgeable and fun and we saw all the big fives, incredible scenery and learned about so much about all the animals! Overall this is a great reserve, we had a very special time and would highly recommend!

Located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve, Woodbury Tented Camp offers an authentic outdoor experience in safari tents. The camp overlooks the ancient floodplain of the Bushmans River. Gorgeous tented camp set in a lush area, lovely main building with excellent meals served by friendly, attentive staff, tents set off individually for privacy, each with a sweeping view of the preserve. Our guide, Lenny, was very experienced and we learned much about the many animals we saw - lion, cheetah, elephant, rhino, giraffe, many kinds of antelope, warthog, more! We did 6 3 -hour drives; suggest booking enough time to do at least 4-6.

Situated in the Amakala Big Five Game Reserve, Bush Lodge offers an intimate lodge experience. It features an outdoor swimming pool, viewing deck and a number of game drives and bush walks. Everything was great; the Safaris with Jonathan were exceptional !
