This tent's special feature is the pool with a view. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven in the well-fitted kitchenette. The tent also offers a barbecue. We had a wonderful stay at Ndlovu Addo River Lodge. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, right on the Sundays River, with nature all around — birds, monkeys and a real sense of calm. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and thoughtfully set up for self-catering, with lovely little touches that made it feel welcoming and relaxed. Being so close to Addo Elephant National Park made it an ideal base for game drives, while still feeling private and tucked away. The eco-friendly, semi off-grid setup worked perfectly and meant no disruption from load-shedding. Overall, a genuinely special place — tranquil, well-run and excellent value. We would happily return and highly recommend it.

The property is in a beautiful location, isolated but not too hard to get to from the main road. Beautiful sea views in a tranquil area. I loved my stay here. There are trails to walk on the forest near the property and curious monkeys would show up in the morning to look at our chalet. Food in the restaurant was really good and I’ve also used the spa, which was amazing after a long flight. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and attentive. Wish I had time to stay longer and hope to come back one day. Book without thinking twice.

Marietjie & Mike are great hosts. They can help you to organize for example private Safaris … or have tips for anything you might need. The tents are very nice and we had a fantastic BBQ in the evening. Also felt very safe.

We chose the tent accommodation and it was an amazing experience, living in the middle of the forest on a mountain, yet in a very comfortable and beautifully arranged tent. The room was decorated with great attention to detail, and every evening the staff brought us hot water bottles for the bed, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hotel's restaurant is excellent, both the food and the service were outstanding. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely recommend this place!
