One of the Highlights of our Trip. The two hosts made us feel like old family members from far away from the first moment on. The tents are wonderful and sitting on the terrace watching the wild giraffes and other wildlife was hands down under the top 5 travel experiences we experienced in our lifes. I highly recommend going there also with children and to show them the wildlife of SA with a huge variety of animals. The Braai in the evening is another highlight featuring the best products like organic butter or meat. Do yourself a favor and don’t rush it. We stayed for 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer as you really experience the pleasure of a spot where time stands still. Thank you for having us. We will for sure come back ❤️

* Daily guided game drive OR bush walk (dependent on whole vehicle opting to walk instead of drive)

* Visit to a historic Anglo Boer War site during a normal game drive, where the pivotal "Battle of Paardefontein" was fought The setting is good and we were in a anex to the main lodge with 2 other bedrooms with asitting room and fully equiped kitchen not used as we had full board. A lovely fire which was lit for us. 7 minutes walk to the lodge.

The en suite canvas tents have a patio and offer views of the valley. Each has a built-in shower, hot running water and electricity. Amazing experience!! It was a totally wonderful package of stay (comfortable warm beds, clean rooms), excellent food (we went as a family of 4 and 3 were vegetarians, all efforts were put in to providing them with specially curated vegetarian meals), game drives!! Amazing drive experience with very knowledgeable ranger!! He put in so much effort to show us maximum wild life. The morning coffee with giraffes is something we will remember for lifetime.
