Misty Mountain Reserve has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Stormsrivier. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. The property is in a beautiful location, isolated but not too hard to get to from the main road. Beautiful sea views in a tranquil area. I loved my stay here. There are trails to walk on the forest near the property and curious monkeys would show up in the morning to look at our chalet. Food in the restaurant was really good and I’ve also used the spa, which was amazing after a long flight. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and attentive. Wish I had time to stay longer and hope to come back one day. Book without thinking twice.

We were told repeatedly not to bother with Aberdeen as there is nothing there. However, we had a lovely stoppover with nice friendly hosts. They are working on adding a new coffee shop, so I can only guess the place will be even better.

We highly recommend the Pods for a truly unique experience. the lodge is beautiful but spending the night on the mountain is unmatchable. It’s a 40 minute drive from the Lodge to the Pods but it’s spectacular.

It was a totally wonderful package of stay (comfortable warm beds, clean rooms), excellent food (we went as a family of 4 and 3 were vegetarians, all efforts were put in to providing them with specially curated vegetarian meals), game drives!! Amazing drive experience with very knowledgeable ranger!! He put in so much effort to show us maximum wild life. The morning coffee with giraffes is something we will remember for lifetime. Thanks Rob for this lifetime memorable experience.
