Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.

You can easily visit the more busy locations, but stay the night on the most beautiful places with green, birds, seaviews and more natural beauty. And on top of that the service by the 'hosts' was exceptional: endless good advising, approachable, supportive, a big 10!!!

This tent features a balcony, toaster and microwave. Boasting mountain views, Ha'le Kiana features accommodation with patio, around 31 km from Iao Valley State Park. The location was great - it is really close to Haleakala and also to Road to Hana! It was a lovely stay

It was super easy to set up the tent and the jeep was a perfect mode of transport through the island of Maui. There are enough campgrounds around Maui where you can stay with this campcar. Tony is a very friendly host and provided everything we needed for this wonderful trip! This included useful tips as well as additional gear which made the trip even more memorable. We would definitely recommend renting a car from Tony! We loved his kindness.

Towels, bug spray, chairs etc. Shawn was super cool and answered all our questions and had everything organized and immaculate for us to head out on are excursion. Definitely recommend this company!
