The house is located in a beautiful garden with small, but very nice and clean pool area. Fresh breakfast every morning and nice terrace to enjoy it. Welcome treats - tasty local cake and wine. Private parking area and good wifi are also available for the guests. About 15 minutes drive from nice restaurants and walking distance from beautiful trails. This place is even better than in the pictures. Perfect for romantic and relaxing escape.

We loved the view so much, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The view is something you won't get over. Awesome pool, washing facilites to use (1 euro for detergent pod) and free bread for all of the pods. We highly recommend this spot & loved watching the sunset every afternoon.

The fully equipped kitchen has a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave. Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!
