The camp location is unbeatable, sitting right on top of the dunes with breathtaking views. The staff made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Gautam, who was incredibly attentive to all our needs and made sure we got the room with the most spectacular view in the camp.

Royal desert campはAl Rakaにある宿泊施設です。無料専用駐車場と有料空港シャトルサービスを提供しています。 フロントではアラビア語と英語を話すスタッフが滞在のお手伝いをしています。 全ての旅行者にこのキャンプを訪れることを勧めます。このキャンプの素晴らしい点は、オーナーとスタッフの親切さ、フレンドリーさ、温かさです。海外旅行で宿に宿泊すると、多くの場合はチェックインとチェックアウトの時に簡単な会話しかしないですが、このキャンプは違います。宿泊者を家族として迎え入れてくれます。送迎の車の中や夕食、アクティビティツアーの時の会話は本当に楽しいものでした。 宿泊者は伝統的なスタイルのテントか、小さなホテルのような小屋を選ぶことになります。どちらも素敵です。私は小屋の方を選びました。部屋はシンプルですが、清潔感があります。砂漠なのにシャワーを浴びることができます。充電ができるコンセントも1つありました。そして、テントの近くには休憩所があり、ここに宿泊者が集まります。スタッフとともに、他の国の人と交流することができ、とても素晴らしい時間を過ごせます。私は英語が得意ではないのですが、ここにいる人はみんな親切なので問題ありません。 夕食やサンセットトリップなどアクティビティツアーに参加することをオススメします。どれも満足するものでした。 もちろん、ゆっくり過ごす時間もたくさんあります。 砂漠の静けさと、風を音だけを楽しむ時間はとてもリラックスできます。 そもそも、日本や韓国といった東アジアの人がオマーンは訪れる機会は少ないかもしれませんが、もしトルコなどを訪れるなら、是非オマーンにも行ってみてください。マスカット空港からMwasalatというバス会社が長距離バスを運行しています。空港から、キャンプの最寄りのバス停であるMintarib Souqまでは、往復で4.2ORM（日本円で1600円）。安いです。その先は有料のオプションとして、キャンプのスタッフが送迎してくれます。砂漠を訪れたことがないなら、なおさらオススメです。 オーナーのザック、スタッフのイルファン、イドリース、アーサラン、一緒にディナーを楽しんでくれた宿泊者、全ての人に感謝したいです。私にとって、これまでの人生で一番素敵な宿の時間でした。

This tent's special feature is the fireplace. This tent features a shared bathroom, a dining area, a barbecue as well as a terrace. The unit offers 3 beds. The authenticity was spot on. Everyone and everything was perfect. It was a hot night and the staff put our beds outside the tents, sleeping under the stars and full moon night was above and beyond our expectations. Camel rides were a little pricey but ya gotta do it. Diner and breakfast were traditional and plentiful. We will be back!

Great location, service, food, transport to camp. This is how you do the business! Owner and other employees were kind, helpful and told us about omani culture and history. Tents were really comfy, bedsheets clean and the second smaller tent with bathroom was as well really well equipped. Rashid was a great host and a skilled dune basher. The spacious tents with toilet snd shower were very comfortable. We could walk the dune from our tent to watch sunrise. We took up sunset dunebashing and camel ride options.
