Speaking both Arabic and English, staff at the reception can help you plan your stay. The tents are very authentic, the beds are big and comfortable. The place has a beautiful setting in the desert. We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.

Sightseeing tours are available around the property. The luxury tent has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. The authenticity was spot on. Everyone and everything was perfect. It was a hot night and the staff put our beds outside the tents, sleeping under the stars and full moon night was above and beyond our expectations. Camel rides were a little pricey but ya gotta do it. Diner and breakfast were traditional and plentiful. We will be back!

This is how you do the business! Owner and other employees were kind, helpful and told us about omani culture and history. Tents were really comfy, bedsheets clean and the second smaller tent with bathroom was as well really well equipped. Situated in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Rashid Desert Private Camp has a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the luxury tent's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Rashid was a great host and a skilled dune basher. The spacious tents with toilet snd shower were very comfortable. We could walk the dune from our tent to watch sunrise. We took up sunset dunebashing and camel ride options.
