This luxury tent features free private parking and private check-in and check-out. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the luxury tent's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. We had such an incredible stay at Waipu Thunder Domes! The space was cozy, clean, and super comfortable – it had everything we needed and more. I loved the thoughtful touches like the gowns for walking from the shower to the dome, electric blankets, and the heat pump that kept us warm and toasty. The views were stunning, the kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed the games too. The hosts were friendly and attentive without ever being in your space. Highly recommend for a peaceful and unique getaway!

With free private parking, the property is 35 km from Northland Event Centre and 35 km from Whangarei Art Museum. The property is non-smoking and is set 39 km from Ah Reed Kauri Park. Had a wonderful stay in the great ‘dome’ great location. Sadly only 1 night. I could have stayed longer. Watched the sunset and the sunset 🌅 perfect….

The view over the valley was lovely, the tiny away is tiny, but it is your own space and it has a lovely little outdoor area. The host was lovely, he greeted us at arrival and suggested AH Reid walk which I highly support the recommendation. If you like being out of town a little and not in your standard accommodation this place is perfect. Also the place was spotlessly clean and quiet, we slept so well.
