I celebrated my birthday here and they even woke me up with a cake and decorations to celebrate!! This was truly a special experience. We went on a night walk which was so informative and learned about the local plants and their midicinal value. We also had a lovely sunset cruise down the river, followed by an evening bonfire dinner surrounded by fireflies. Sounds to good to be true right but, it's a magical place. The tents are a bit more rugged and one needs to have an appreciation for nature to enjoy this spot fully. Take mosquito repelent-althoughbthey have nets in the tent, it's next to the river!

Very easy going and friendly. Very passionate about all the animals and nature :) The accommodation was very cool, close to town so great for a little exploration. The food was very good and the rooms were very clean with all the amenities. The wifi was very good. Highly recommended.

The staff were fantastic and always ready to help answer any questions including “what bird is that” x 20. The staff were patient and knowledgeable and they made my experience amazing!!

The pool facilities are clean and really nice. Staff was always nice and helpful. Perfect stay to make safari and relax for some days. We will definitly come back! :)

Athgira River Camping offers a great outdoor dining experience as well as a barbecue dinner and cooking demonstrations. Real wild cocktails and a nice wine selection are available as well. Everything, it was the most peaceful ive ever been
