Popular points of interest near the lodge include Lazy Beach, Saracen Bay Beach and Sunset Beach. Our teepees were in beautiful shade but fronted the amazing beach. The beach was superb and kept really clean unlike elsewhere in Cambodia we had been. It was so peaceful. None of the few restaurants/bars chose to play any music at all which was a nice change from other places. The swimming, beach walking, sunset were stunning. We also hired a paddle board which was fun. The simple menu was tasty. We were there on one of the pizza nights and they were fired in a wood oven and delicious. The staff made calls and helped us with our ongoing journey which we appreciated.

The communal bathroom includes cold shower facilities, while electricity is available at the charging station in the restaurant. A true paradise on Earth - the whole place is nicely blended into the surroundings, while being situated almost directly on the beach. We rented a big tent right on the beach - you can literally walk out and hop into water after few steps. The tent is basic in that there is only a big mattress inside and some simple furniture, but still very comfortable and cozy, with enough space to stand upright. The place has its own restaurant that offers mostly Khmer food - breakfest, lunch, dinner. The food was without doubt the best we had during our whole stay in Cambodia - we tried half of the main dishes offered and each was amazing. Staff is very friendly and takes care to keep the place clean and tidy. The Sunset Beach itself is amazingly beautiful, clean, with perfect sand, calm turquoise water and surrounded by jungle green hills (and living up to its name - with excellent sunsets). Picture-perfect. There is also nearby a small agency that organizes nice tours and rents equipment (e.g. night plankton watching, snorkeling, climbing, kayak). We recommend the plankton tour and renting kayak to go see the island lighthouse. What's important, in this part of island both the hotels and the guests know why is everybody there - no loud music, no parties, just peacufully enjoying the nature and relaxing.

They serve delicious breakfast and you can enjoy it with the amazing view and the sound of the ocean. It’s one of the unforgettable moment during my trip in Cambodia. Jimmy, the owner is very nice, helpful and friendly. He knows everything about the island. Lin and the local cambodian chef are also very nice. If you plan to go to the island, I highly recommend staying with them!

The location was picture perfect and I loved their scheme to encourage you to fill a bag full of rubbish which had been washed up on a beach and in turn you receive a free drink. Chris was so friendly too. We actually extended our stay we loved it so much.

Outdoor seating is also available at the luxury tent. Excellent value for money (if you get it for a good price). Very basic but perfectly suited if you fancy à bungalow. Hot water in the shower, high quality towel, mosquito net, hammock…
