It was my dream to sleep in camping car that Baksas Campers make it true♡ The hotel is in a quiet area, but not far from the shops and restaurants in Selfoss. The room was tidy and fresh, and the staff is polite and offer a warm smile. AC ran off when I used hairdryer by mistake but he responded message and call and came in only 3 mins to solve my problems. it was really helpful! It will choose this lovely hotel when I come again in the future

The kitchenette has everything needed for a short stay. And the location is perfectly away from light so you can see the aurora from bed—of she’s out that night! The house was absolutely amazing with responses too!

The caravan was very clean and the beds were much more comfortable than I imagined. Thomas was very knowledgeable about puffins and gave us advice when/where to find them. He also gave us earbuds in case it was loud at night but it was very peaceful and we didn't need them. Would definitely stay again if we ever get the pleasure of visiting the island again :)

The bbq grill is a plus but mot able to use it due to weather. The property management were very responsive and supportive throughout our stay. Love that it’s isolated but few minutes drive to Selfoss. In spite of the stormy weather during our stay, we were given a window time to see the most beautiful Aurora Borealis display we have seen so far in Iceland. We also got a special Christmas present from the property… a big chocolate Christmas tree with treats inside (see photo)!!! Thank you so much!

Situated in Hella in the South Iceland region, Helja Stay Glamping Domes features a garden. The property has mountain and garden views. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Literally looks exactly like the pictures! It’s so well done! It was big enough for 2 people and the bed was very comfy! There was 3 heaters, which we only needed one on and we were there during winter. We did see the northern lights too! There was a lot of rain and wind later in the night and the dome was excellent, no issues whatsoever. Yes, you do have to walk 200m to use the bathroom and kitchenette, but the facilities were amazing! So much better than expected- once again they look exactly like the photos!
