Ljosifoss is 26 km from the campground. Reykjavík Domestic Airport is 63 km away. This place is a gem. The owner, Remune, is super kind, helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome. Communication was very easy and prompt. The campervan is super clean and comfortable and very well designed with lots of space. Despite being a camper van, it has everything we need. . We love that we could experience staying in such a luxurious campervan. Beds are comfortable and we slept very well. Windows are brilliant - they open easily to let in fresh air which enable us to control the temperature of our rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped with a full size fridge and amenities to enable us to cook our meals easily. There are condiments and choices of hot drinks and we appreciate the coke and chocolate left for us. Coffee is great. We love the beautiful, quiet and peaceful rustic surrounding and yet we were only a short drive to Bonus and Krónan supermarkets. Check in and check out were super easy.

The hostess was nice and helpful as well. Would recommend!

The kitchenette has everything needed for a short stay. And the location is perfectly away from light so you can see the aurora from bed—of she’s out that night! The house was absolutely amazing with responses too!

This luxury tent provides a terrace. Very well designed vacation dome for a very comfortable and unique experience. Be sure to ask for enough firewood to survive through the nights . The staff responded our questions and requests very promptly . Highly recommend!

Situated in Hella in the South Iceland region, Helja Stay Glamping Domes features a garden. The property has mountain and garden views. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Literally looks exactly like the pictures! It’s so well done! It was big enough for 2 people and the bed was very comfy! There was 3 heaters, which we only needed one on and we were there during winter. We did see the northern lights too! There was a lot of rain and wind later in the night and the dome was excellent, no issues whatsoever. Yes, you do have to walk 200m to use the bathroom and kitchenette, but the facilities were amazing! So much better than expected- once again they look exactly like the photos!
