Driving from Belfast and with our newborn we were looking for a location where if the child cracked up that he didnt didnt disturb others... this wasnt the place -- he enjoyed seeing the chickens and the wee dog.
We enjoyed the tranquility and the bed was comfy and had everything we needed.
Its a 10/10 for me....

This place was very cosy and lovely. The shower was amazing. Decor was really cool. The grounds around the place were nice to walk around. There was a big pig in a pen which my kids loved. They have Pizza or Taco parties every friday which was really handy for dinner. Very tasty too.

Fabulous, huge hotel, plenty of staff, all friendly, comfy beds, fabulous breakfast - varied and tasty, tea and coffee making facilities in the room, iron and hairdryer in the room. Did not use the pool but witnessed the joy of some children skipping back from the pool. Free carpark. I usually stay around Eyre Square because you're in the centre of everything but everywhere was booked out this weekend so I took a chance with the Connaught and I am glad because I would definitely stay here again.
