We are experienced travellers, but have hardly felt as welcome as at Can Pau. From the lovely surroundings of the hotel, the warmth of Maria's continuous smile, the many tasteful decorations, the amazing breakfast, to the many little surprises that I don't want to spoil for the next guest, this little hotel offers so much more than the outside would have you expect. We really hope to go back to Can Pau some time.

És una antiga borda arreglada i molt acollidora enmig del Parc Natural de l’Alt Pirineu, a sobre Àreu, amb unes vistes espectaculars. És un lloc ideal per desconnectar enmig de la natura, sense res a km’s, i un autèntic privilegi pels que som amants de la muntanya. Pots fer excursions sortint des de la porta de la borda i això no té preu! La borda està molt ben equipada, amb un sofà llit molt còmode per dormir, pica, forn i fogons, per poder cuinar i un lavabo amb dutxa ideal. Destacar, a part del lloc, que és increïble, l’amabilitat i proximitat del Sebastià, l’amfitrió, sempre molt atent i amable. Ens vam quedar sense bateria al cotxe i va fer tot el possible per portar-nos unes pinces i poder-lo engegar. 1000% recomanable! Segur que tornarem!
