I also appreciated their deep connection with nature and respect for local wildlife, which is evident in how seamlessly the space blends with its surroundings. The bungalows are another highlight. You can choose to leave the curtains open and enjoy almost a 180-degree view of the beach and the surrounding forest. This was one of my favorite aspects, as it allows you to feel even more connected to nature, waking up to the sunrise and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and wildlife. The hosts are incredibly kind. Every detail is carefully thought out, from the organization of the spaces to the beautiful open kitchen, which is not only functional but also a visual delight. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect for a while!

Luna Lodge is a 10-minute drive from Carate Local Airport, 2 hours' drive from Puerto Jimenez Domestic Airport. Very warm and inviting. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Good guides and a long list of activities for purchase. Probably best food in Carate and ranks among the best prepared "lodge" meals I've had anywhere.
