The property was conceptualized and kept to have a very small impact on the environment, allowing the guests to have a full Patagonian experience. We experienced most of the elements, the hike up/down, sun, rain, rainbow, starry night, exceptional view of Chalten, and of course 115kph gust of wind during your sleep. For someone who loves the outdoors - this is your refuge in Patagonia with comfort without missing out on the “experience/adventure!” Oh, without forgetting the food - had the best “Banana Split Cake!” Highly recommended if you’re looking for a different level of Patagonian experience!

The dome I stayed in was heated with wood fire and it made the atmosphere amazing.

Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven in the fully equipped kitchen. The mobile home also features a barbecue. I expected less from a shared space, but this property exceeded expectations for even a private stay. Very pleasant host, well cared for and very clean property. Shared bathrooms and kitchen all in excellent shape. Really cute house and cats, secured and nice part of town with easy street parking.

We had the best time here!! The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The food was out of this world delicious! The area was so beautiful to explore and close to hiking trails. The staff made a fire for us every night and put hot water bottles to heat our bed. We had a beautiful time in our clean, cozy, stylish room enjoying a view of Fitz Roy and the beautiful surroundings. Thank you so much Camp Chalten!!!! P.S. They gave us champagne for our anniversary! Such a nice little surprise!! 🫶🙏☺️

This tent has a mountain view, fireplace and seating area. Displaying panoramic views of Fitz Roy hill, Patagonia Eco Domes provides accommodations in El Chalten. We loved our stay at the Eco Domes! We loved how unique the domes were and there was adequate heat (tent was heated by a wood burning stove) and hot water. Everyone who worked at the Domes went above and beyond to make our stay awesome. Our stay came with breakfast, lunch (packed - for the hike), and dinner included and each meal was delicious. Dinner was a set menu that changes everyday and although it was enough food for me, my husband felt like it was not enough food so we would recommend bringing extra snacks just in case. Additionally, the Domes gives you a private access to the main Laguna de los tres hike which was around 2.5-3 miles (saves maybe 2-3 hours depending on speed) shorter than the overall hike that starts from El Chalten.

We stayed in a cabin next to the lake for 1 day, and it was perfect. The view from the cabin is absolutely amazing, the bed is very comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and the staff is really helpful & nice. The possibility to do an asado & make a campfire next to the cabin made our stay even more perfect. We will definitely come back 😍

This tent has a shared bathroom, parquet floors and garden views. The unit has 1 bed. Estancia Santa Thelma is a beautiful and quaint ranch placed along the Route 40 highway. The property is expansive and has lots of interesting relics inside and out. The owner, Marc-Antoine, has incredible stories from his 30 years of adventuring through Patagonia and was an amazing host. The food was fresh and cooked like home, and it was really nice to have meals with other guests and meet new people. You can also go on a horseback ride through the mountains where you will see many horses, sheep, and other animals. I look forward to staying again soon. Thank you!
