We are a family of five and we stayed for three nights in a beautiful, very spacious and clean tent at Africamps. We had a wonderful view on the little lake and enjoyed the sunset with a glass of wine. The ordered braai- and breakfast baskets were great and I would recommend doing this south african style barbecue. We also participated in a meerkat safari, which we loved.

The location is stunning, totally worth a visit! The property was very recently purchased by new owners who are quite obviously putting in the effort to make the property even better. It’s got great bones and I’m sure when their vision comes to life it will be truly amazing. They were very kind and offered us great service, including a very tasty breakfast. Our room was comfortable and thankfully had heating for the very cold night. I would definitely recommend!

Everything about our stay at Old Mill was wonderful. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer to enjoy the facilities and activities near by. We stayed in the luxury tents which were set overlooking the farm and pool. We loved the extra touches that made us feel welcome as well as the friendly staff. It is worth booking for breakfast too. Also recommended is a visit to the Cango Caves (you do need to pre book a time slot) and a meal at either Bufflesdrift Game Park ( booking essential - we missed out on this) or to Su Casa Olive Estate.
