Staff, facilities and food exceeded our expectations. The resort was truly impressive. The rooms were fantastic and the communal areas excellent. The game rangers were brilliant and the amount of very close big 5 viewings was extraordinary. Seeing a cheetah mum and her cub was the highlight, but the volume of game within Thanda makes it a great place to see lots of animals very close up.

Zululand Lodge is located within walking distance of the Msineni River and offers accommodation on a private wildlife conservancy near Hluhluwe.

The Hluhluwe Bushcamp is the perfect place to rewind and relax, surrounded by nature and its sounds. The tents offer a lot of space, even for families. The farmstall at the pool has good meal options if you don’t want to cook yourself. With possibilities such as going for a nice walk around the property and watching Nialas from close distance, and daytrips to the Hluhluwe National Park, or hanging out by the pool, the Bushcamp is a great place to stay. The staff and owners are very nice and offer advice and recommendations, if you need any. We enjoyed our stay very much!
