Awesome time! The staff, tents, dune views, activities and comfortable beds were epic. We've been travelling for 3 months now and these were the most comfortable beds we've had, slept so well. There's also ensuite bathroom for all the tents, which are raised on platforms with great views. We enjoyed the dune bashing and sand boarding activities. Most of all we enjoyed the staff and their warmth, friendliness and good vibes. Awesome to hang out with. Also the food and campfire were excellent.

Ibraheim and the rest of the team were exceptional, accommodating to our every need. We arrived much later than we expected and Ibraheim was very reassuring and took care of all the arrangements. He took time to sit with us after dinner and breakfast the next morning, he is an outstanding contact to have if you are in Oman and require travel arrangements to any part of the country - he supplied us with a route on google maps to see as many places as possible in the shortest amount of time! The camp was nicely located in the dunes, there were some other camps nearby, but not close enough to notice them without walking some distance. The facilities were amazing, tents were simple, yet well equipped and the little private bathrooms (including showers) were just perfect. Sunset camel ride was brilliant and definitely worth doing. Both the dinner and breakfast were well prepared with a large variety of food, we were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the dinner and breakfasts.

Ali our host is a magician whose talent and entrepreneurial spirit bring his customers we were of for one night a great moment of Life. The calm and voluptuousness of the desert, the quiet steps of majestic dromedaries and the beauty of the starry sky were our backdrop. The refined welcome, the comfortable surroundings, the beauty of the camp with just two luxurious tents, the kindness of the team and, last but not least, the quality of the cuisine did the rest. Great location, service, food, transport to camp. This is how you do the business! Owner and other employees were kind, helpful and told us about omani culture and history. Tents were really comfy, bedsheets clean and the second smaller tent with bathroom was as well really well equipped. Thank you for a great experience and hope you use some lf 360 photos I sent you. :)

Lovely, peaceful location way from the other camps, small setting and lovely people. We really enjoyed the ride there and the visits to the animals, the tour through the desert in the morning and the kids loved the short camel ride. Stars, sand and serenity. Lovely guide.

Easily the best spot to see this amazing desert. Only 5 other tents so max can only be 15 guests. I was there with just 4 others. Great hiking over the dunes, peaceful, quiet. All the other camps would need to hike hours to get to this amazing spot with an amazing view. The tent its self is amazing, spacious, nice little balcony to keep cool in the afternoon. Cold shower and toilet with bum gun. Solar power electricity so can charge your phone to take photos and is 4g in the area too. the dinner was amazing freshly cooked for all. The staff, who's name I don't know how to spell were super amazing, nice and friendly, they cared about you having a good time. i am looking forward to coming back in the future. Make sure once you have done booking you text there whatsapp in booking conformation to get the meeting point location.

‏+ The camp was in a fantastic location in the desert completely surrounded by dunes. The tents were extremely comfortable as were the beds. I slept like a baby. The outside toilets/showers were whopped you would expect from camping experience but perfectly usable and not a problem. The camp itself was very spacious and the tents were located some distance away from each other giving that feeling of isolation to some degree. The staff organised a variety of different activities which looked to be at a reasonable price. The camper staff are able to organise a transfer from a local village into the dunes if you only choose to hire a two wheel drive car. It looked to be just about possible to get to the camp with the two wheel drive car but not for the fainthearted, and would require a good degree of confidence

    The camp was very easy to get to in a normal car, no need for a 4wd. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We stayed in a tent which was comfortable and even had air conditioning! The breakfast and dinner was fantastic each day - so many options and all delicious.

    Ali and his colleagues were friendly and helpful. The camp is remote with no signal, so perfect if you are looking to disconnect from the world for a brief moment. The beds were comfy and the tents were really nice. There is even a shower on site which I did use. The sand dunes were beautiful. It gets a little chilly in the evening so remember to bring an extra layer. Dinner and breakfast was tasty and there was lots of it.

    Sandglass was exactly what it said on the tin - a basic but well located camping spot in the desert. The food was great, the hosts very welcoming and kind and a very comfortable bed for the night.

    Everything was incredible! From the beautiful accommodation to the food, to the conversation and laughs with Rashid and Mohammed, and most of all the location. Absolutely stunning. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. The beds were so comfy and the activities were fantastic. Jafa (I think was his name) provided beautiful food and was so friendly and helpful in every way. We can't fault this place and can't wait to visit again!
