We reserved at andromeda desert Astro camp , we did not know exactely what to expect . But once arrived everything was higher than our expectations , nice luxury rented , good local food , nice stuff very well educated , the owner Hamid who is astronomer took us on a life time trip to explore the Saharan sky , constellations , Milky Way , galaxy’s ,,, it was really a unique experience if you are passionate about the desert sky and astronomy Hope to come back more times. Royal Sahara Dome Camp is pure magic—a perfect 10/10 Tucked in the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes, it’s a mix of cozy luxury and wild desert beauty. The domes are gorgeous, with comfy beds, colorful rugs, and a clear wall showing off the dunes at sunrise. The private bathroom with a hot shower was a dream, and the terrace was perfect for stargazing with mint tea. The staff Mohamed and crew made it unforgettable—super friendly, always smiling, and ready to help. They guided an amazing camel ride at sunset and served delicious food and fresh dates by a campfire. The live music and stories under the stars felt so special. The desert’s quiet beauty and the camp’s charm made me feel totally at peace. I can’t wait to go back—this place is incredible!

We had the best experience in Sky View Camp! Hassan is such a brilliant host - he was so kind and thoughtful. Food was so delicious - both dinner and breakfast! The camp itself was super beautiful and comfortable. We had a full programme of seeing the sunset in the dunes, having amazing dinner and then sitting by the campfire under the stars with Hassan and his team playing and singing traditional songs. Just incredible. Definitely recommend!

We chose Beldi camp because we wanted to stay somewhere smaller, quieter and closer to the sand dunes. This was definitely a camp where you can experience the exquisite peace and quiet, moon and stars and the beauty of the dunes. They have 8 tents but because of the earthquake they had quite a few cancellations despite the earthquake not having affected this area at all. For this reason, we had Beldi camp all to ourselves for the first night. Unfortunately, I arrived with a short-lived stomach upset picked up the day before somewhere else and the staff tried hard to help (even making a 2 hour journey to get me some medication) and repeatedly checking in on me and how I was doing. The small team (Ashraf, Ali, Mustapha1 and Mustapha2) were hardworking, friendly and full of Berber smiles and humour. Ali and the Mustaphas did everything (cooking, cleaning, music etc) so well. A big thank you to them. Highly recommend the 4x4 desert tour too.

Great camp, the bed is just amazing. Unfortunately it was raining and cloudy that day so they made it up so that we could do camels in the next morning. Everyone very friendly.

So nice experience. Count it is a bit higher price than rest of camps in this area but its better design…transfer included and no hiden costs. Bed was so comfortable…amazing for the camp. Dinner is made from farm products…its local “Tajine”, one vegetable Tajine and one chicken Tajine. And yes…staff is perfect…do their best to welcome us.

Everything that is said about Omar is true! He is an amazing person, full of life, who did everything to keep us entertained. Omar took us on a ride through the Saharian dunes in his pick-up truck and the ride was simply amazing as I have never experienced such a thing. Omar was playing some local band in his car (Tikoubaoiune) whose music sounded exceptional (a mix of blues and local folk which I have never heard of). I found them on youtube and kept listening to their amazing tunes. The meal organized at the tents was delicious, though a bit on the heavy side, given the extreme temperatures. I can highly recommend this experience.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin or how to describe this camp properly. From the moment we arrived, everything felt magical—starting with the warm welcome, the traditional tea, the delicious dinner, the singing and the sound of drums by the fire, the moonlight and stars… it was all like a dream. The desert camp, as well as the Kasbah itself, is absolutely stunning. The tent was spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need—10/10 in every aspect. Impeccably clean, and the bed comfort was truly top-notch. The manager was kind and helpful, and can arrange reliable tours of the dunes and desert. The entire staff was beyond friendly, and Ali served our dinner with a smile that made the evening even more special. Highly, highly recommended. Book it—you won’t regret it! Thank you for everything!
