It was cleaned every day by a nice woman. The pool was amazing and the area around it was nice for relaxing. It was really calm and the kitchen was big and clean. Really quiet during the night.

Amazing place, quiet, private outdoor shower, little patio in front of every bungalow overlooking the pool, outdoor kitchen has everything you need to make coffee and breakfast, the hosts recommended and helped us book a catamaran tour for us for the next day that turned out to be the highlight of our stay in Tamarindo! Highly recommend!!

My children and I spent 5 wonderful days in la Quebrada Ecolodge- the "beach huts" were perfectly equipped and decorated with such attention to detail and love, the beds were comfortable, the clear and warm water in the swimming pool so appeasing- it really felt like paradise, luxurious and homely at the same time. It is ideally located, 5-10 mins walk from the beach and from the centre with sodas and eateries serving delicious food. It is also 10-15 mins drive to Las Catalinas and other fabulous beaches on the coast. A big thank you to Carmen and Christian who surpassed all our expectations. They treated us with such care and generosity, arranged an amazing horseriding tour on the beach with Eddy and made themselves available to help us discover the beauty of this part of the country. Hands down one of the best places we stayed at in Costa Rica! This place is a true oasis off the beaten path. It’s got a chill vibe in a beautiful inviting setting and is really magical at night with the lighting …simply beautifully designed!! You’re surrounded by a tropical environment with birds, squirrels, cashew trees and falling mangos that are a delicious bonus!! The owners are laid back, very welcoming and friendly - willing to help with anything you need. You feel like you’re staying with friends! The restaurant onsite is great and makes it easy to just relax and enjoy the pool area with cocktails and food. Almost makes you want to skip sight seeing in the area! However, the location does make it easy to go out - it’s walking distance to the beach and many bars & restaurants if you want to step out of the beautiful property. If you’re lucky you’ll also get the opportunity to spot some howler monkeys across the road - the made a visit on our last day which was really cool!
