Wonderful hotel at an exceptional location directly at the lake shore, and while on the outskirts of Lucerne with a frequent bus connection that takes one to the center in about 10 minutes, with the bus stop right outside the hotel.     The hotel is four star: linen table cloths, excellent restaurant and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Very clean. Location is superb. I had a single room with a wonderful view of the lake. Unlike single rooms in other hotels, there was sufficient room without being claustrophobic as single rooms often are. Would recommend this hotel to single travellers and I noticed that there were a number of solo women travellers. Zug is a lovely place to stay.

    The central location. The decor is modern and civilised. The staff are welcoming. Everything is exceptionally clean. I’ve never stayed at a hotel with so many tv channels.
