Literally everything, the location is amazing, the history of the place is amazing, the hosts, Helen and Clint are the tops, the food was superb as was the Chef and breakfasts were perfection.

Everything at Waitapu Springs exceeded my expectations. Serge and Marie were very friendly and personable and easy to be around. Breakfast was lovely and of course the spa facilities were an amazing bonus! Between the sauna, hot tubs, and cold plunge pool it really felt like we had a 5 star experience for a very reasonable price. Location was perfect for a jaunt into town or a very quick drive to many nearby attractions.

Fabulous place with superb welcoming owners. Everything tip top including the wonderful garden. Fires alight to warm and welcome us. Fabulous evening meal by the local chef. Unique and unmissable. Helen you are a super star. Clint you are wonderful too.

An outstanding location & place, excellently looked after by the house owners. It is a lot of hard work to upkeep such an old place and to make it as comfortable, clean and welcoming as it is. There goes a lot of love, caring & effort into it, and it shows and feels that way. The big dining table is excellent to meet other travelling souls & the chef cooks an extraordinary meal. And the smallest Bar in NZ is definitely a must - CHEERS & enjoy the views!

Sonja and Filip were perfect hosts. They couldn’t do enough to help and the cake was delicious. My accommodation was immaculate and the view from the room outstanding. It was relaxing and felt luxurious.
