It cannot be reached by car, you need to park in a parking provided by hotel and there is a car to take you to the hotel, the service was wonderful and quick. The restaurant is great and the whole experience in Matera was wonderful because of the hotel location, services and staff.

The hotel is actually a palazzo and is absolutely gorgeous - the lower levels are dug into a cave and you can still see the underground cisterns used for storing water in the past. The room was super spacious but cozy, everything was pristine clean and you have all the facilities you might need for a perfect stay. The food was amazing - the breakfast options are plentiful and it all tastes heavenly. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was perfect (highly recommend the beef steak). The location needs no comment - the hotel is in the heart of Matera, the view is breathtaking and you can easily explore the historical part on foot. Let’s not forget the staff - everyone was super friendly and helpful, they recommended places to go, provided us with a map with a route for our walk around the city, places for lunch, etc. All in all it was the perfect stay for our trip to Matera.

It is in Maratea, just 250 metres from its own private beach. this exceptional hotel ! located in very quiet surroundings with huge gardens and access path to the sea. wonderful view . Staff was very attentive . very clean hotel , big room , they prepare the room every night . excellent restaurant with a great view. food was excellent. we ate at the hotel restaurant 2 evenings and the food and service were very good. the breakfast was served at the hotel terrace with sea view and also was very good with large variety I highly recommend this hotel!!! you will not be disappointed

The spa is set in the former cisterns and features a thermal pool. Fantastic hotel in best location in front of Duomo. If you come by car they will pick you up from their associated parking. Staff deserve a 10, especially Teresa and Francesco who were super nice and attentive to all our needs or questions. Very comfortable room with amazing view over Matera

We were in town for a family reunion in nearby Anzi. We felt as if we were staying with family. The pictures online don’t do it justice. This place is a gem! We will definitely be back.
