It was not the standard hotel linen. The staff was extremely polite and kind. The breakfast was lovely freshly prepared by the chef to meet our needs. Even the fruit was chopped fresh for us. Felt like royalty! The occupancy was low and so they gave us a complimentary upgrade. A lot of cafes and restaurants and shops around so very well located. Wishing 10-15 minutes one had multiple options.

The decor is sophisticated, the rooms very comfortable and well-appointed. The Postcard Velha is set on a forested hill - thus, it is very quiet and peaceful and yet not far from the sights of Old Goa (around 800 meters). Meals in the open pavilions were a delight. The atmosphere is unhurried, personal and relaxing.
