Boasting a garden and terrace, as well as a restaurant, Koora Monteverde a Cloud Forest Hotel by Sandglass is set in Monteverde Costa Rica. This 5-star hotel offers a bar. This was a cool, secluded property in a good location. The staff was wonderful and everyone went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my short stay.

Hotel Belmar is located in Monteverde, Costa Rica, features a unique restaurant with on-site brewery and a juice bar; also it has an organic garden and certification on sustainability. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived and had a wonderful lunch looking over the beautiful view, to the farm tour, then a dip in the jacuzzi, then more great food :). The staff was very accommodating for every request. We took a driver to the Cloud Forest and Curi Cancha… both fantastic experiences!

Our room was spectacular! We had a view of the sunset every night and went to sleep with the screen door open to peaceful sounds of the forest. We saw lots of wildlife on the property including coatis, agoutis, and many birds including a Crested Guan and a Montezuma Oropendolo in the tree right by our porch! The restaurant was delicious and all of the hotel staff were amazing. They helped us book a ziplining tour and a birdwatching tour with a private guide where we saw the famous quetzal. It was pure heaven.
