The receptionists Rachel and Krystel helped us plan the perfect activities for our stay. The restaurant has an elegant atmosphere and the food was good. Erik's attention to detail and friendliness made our meals a pleasure. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are very comfortable.

Hotel Belmar is located in Monteverde, Costa Rica, features a unique restaurant with on-site brewery and a juice bar; also it has an organic garden and certification on sustainability. We did the ficus and farm visit excursions and absolutely loved both of them, as did our 10 year old son. The location, room size and staff were all excellent too.

Hotel Makanda by the Sea, a luxurious adults-only retreat nestled in the lush tropical paradise of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Makanda delivers everything that you might expect and possibly a little bit more. It's pure luxury and the service is sublime. The swimming pool is fantastic and we loved private the beach area. The room are very beautiful. The restaurant is outstanding.

Oxygen Jungle Villas & Spa is located 5 km from Playa Hermosa Beach and features an infinity pool, sun decks, spa treatments, Indonesian architecture and free Wi-Fi. Our stay was faultless. The staff were always available, friendly and professional as well as very knowledgable. The entire hotel, the rooms and the grounds were stunning, there is even a trail you can follow to spot wildlife. The restaurant and bar were brilliant, with exceptional food.

Surrounded by spectacular rainforest and wildlife, Gaia Hotel and Reserve is located near Manuel Antonio Beach, 7 minutes' drive from the coast in Costa Rica and offers chic accommodation. In this place you’ll feel at home right away. Well, a more exotic home, that is. Everybody has a personal concierge that is ready to help at anytime (we had Alex, he was great). The pools are genuis and the view from there is perfect. You can see some iguanas or monkeys right as you are taking a dip and sipping on a margarita. Last but not least, visiting the Macaw reserve on the proptety it’s a must. To be honest, I found the hike and the reserve itself more authentic, not to mention more private, than famous Manuel Antonio National Park. The sunsets from the viewpoint are unique. All in all, an amazing experience and hope to come back soon.

Our room was spectacular! We had a view of the sunset every night and went to sleep with the screen door open to peaceful sounds of the forest. We saw lots of wildlife on the property including coatis, agoutis, and many birds including a Crested Guan and a Montezuma Oropendolo in the tree right by our porch! The restaurant was delicious and all of the hotel staff were amazing. They helped us book a ziplining tour and a birdwatching tour with a private guide where we saw the famous quetzal. It was pure heaven.
