Good wine, fresh eggs with herbs from garden in the morning, beautiful scenery (calm place but at the same close to everything… ), spacious, clean and nicely decorated accommodation PLUS a very kind owner. We were always happy to come back from our daily tours and enjoy the place at least a bit. We were only sorry we couldn’t stay longer!

The pool was cold so we loved jumping in after warm hikes. The hobbit house bar is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and overall you feel so immersed in nature.

Breakfast area outside in an incredibly beautiful hortenisa garden. Flowers overload, just stunning. Very quiet, good kitchen, lots of food for breakfast provided for free, including the most incredible sweetpotatoe bread baked in the bakery of the Quinta furao hotel in Santana. What a service! We loved everything. Owner showed up a few times to ask if everything OK or anything needed. Also provided useful information on hikes etc. Great feeling in the place. Would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay in the 3-bedroom apartment, it was spacious, clean, very well equipped. Beautiful view from all balconies, and even from the swimming pool! Super nice staff was providing us with fruit and bread every other day! Thank you for your hospitality!!!

Quinta Terezinha is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a base to discover the island. The host Laura was so friendly and was really useful in providing information for the shops, restaurants and places to visit. The accommodation itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The farmhouse was lovely with comfy beds, a great shower and really clean. We didn't really make the most of the outdoor areas, but there are hammocks, a barbeque and sun loungers all with amazing views. As others have mentioned, you will likely become the owner of a couple of cats for your stay which we loved. On arrival, Laura had prepared a welcome hamper with some local exotic fruits, ground coffee and a bottle of Madeira Wine which was a lovely touch. If you run out or want any more fresh produce from the farm then the instructions are to just help yourself. What an amazing stay - just wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything was perfect: scenic location, excellent breakfast, super clean house and great hosts!
