Guests at the farm stay can enjoy a continental breakfast. We felt truly welcome and well taken care of at Casa Franco da Serra. This family-run hotel has a warm, homely atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The owner and her son were incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. We were even invited to a small family gathering over the weekend, and everyone was so warm and friendly! It was such a lovely way to experience real Portuguese hospitality on our first visit to Portugal. The hotel is located a bit outside the town center, so having a car is convenient for getting around. That said, we managed perfectly well using the bus (there’s a stop right in front of the house) and returning by taxi without any issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Terceira who is looking for peace, nature, and a quiet retreat.

This beachfront property offers access to a patio. The farm stay offers garden views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The property was extremely clean and inviting. A very comfortable space. The grounds are beautiful. Our hosts were so accommodating and responsive, always asking what we needed, and giving those thoughtful little touches that make your stay that much better. The fireplace was so nice in the evenings. Just a lovely place overall. We also liked that it was situated in the middle of the north coast of the island, so traveling to see things both east and west was easy.

The farm is surrounded by ancient-looking walls out of lava stone, and boasts an equally ancient-looking lookout tower. My kids did love the cat that came visiting frequently

Anita was absolutely amazing, she was our private chef for our stay as we were the only ones there at the time of our booking. We had wonderful conversations with her and could have chatted the whole time we were there. The meals were exceptional, fit for a king. Sylvia the property manager was very delightful and made our stay so comfortable, we also could have chatted with her for our entire stay. She was very helpful in telling us what to do and see, which we enjoyed fully.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was very lovely. The rooms were clean, and the whole property was well maintained with perfectly trimmed lawns. In the evenings, the fire pit area created a cozy atmosphere, and the idea of having a jacuzzi surrounded by pineapples was such a unique and fun touch. Overall, the hotel has a friendly and comfortable vibe. The pineapple farm tour on the property was also a fun and memorable experience. Highly recommend!

The property features water sports facilities, garden and parking on-site among other facilities. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The farm stay features sea views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. This place is amazing. The second you enter the place you feel like home. It is spotlessly clean, the bed is extremely comfortable and the room is very cozy. Everyone is extremely helpful and kind and tell you great places to go. Parking on the side of the building is possible or at a parking spot 2 minutes away by foot. The kitchen is super clean and extremely well equipped. There are eggs, fruits, cookies, tea and coffee waiting for every guest. Every room has its own cupboard to store stuff and numbers to mark belongings for the fridge. The garden and Terrasse are so beautiful and the view of the sea and Pico makes every meal special. We would 100% recommend staying there and would definitely come back.
